While reporting directly to the VP/GM, the QA Manager will be responsible for developing and maintaining ISO, ASME and other Quality Assurance policies associated with the manufacture of sub-components as sold into the Energy Market sector with emphasis on Nuclear and Fossil Fuel.  In this role you will manage programs, procedures and training and perform internal and supply quality audits to ensure compliance with commercial and federal specifications and codes and all special customer requirements and to ensure the highest level of quality consistent with established standards.  The QA Manager will also develop and analyze statistical data and product specifications to determine feasibility related to the proposed quality and reliability expectancy of finished product and will writes new standards as required.  You will be responsible for formulating and maintaining quality control objectives and coordinating objectives with production procedures to maximize product reliability and minimize costs. The QA Manager is responsible for directing workers engaged in inspection and testing activities to ensure continuous control over materials, facilities and products; planning, promoting, and organizing training activities related to product quality and reliability; and investigating and managing both customer and internal quality complaints utilizing root cause analysis techniques fostering an environment of continuous improvement.  Individual may be asked to perform other duties as required.
