We are currently seeking a talented/experienced security management professional to lead a team of security professionals within a highly secure facility. The Site Manager would be responsible for managing a team of highly trained front-line security personnel (both armed and unarmed) who work within a facility to control access using x-ray machines and metal detectors, inspect vehicles, patrol facilities, escort key officials, and guard restricted areas. The selected candidate will have 3 years of former law enforcement experience or 5 years of armed security force management of at least 10 person or more, the candidate will be a graduate of a certified law enforcement training academy.
Experience in security at a US Department of Energy facility or a facility licensed by the Nuclear Regulatory Agency is highly desirable!
The Site Manager will be responsible for the following:
Provide leadership and direction to officer personnel by coaching, counseling and developing skills
Manage the financial aspects of the locations by overseeing payroll, billing, accounts receivable, scheduling, recruiting and training
Be available as the single point of contact for each client location within the portfolio
Work with all levels of the organization to identify, analyze and resolve issues and create opportunities for continuous improvement
Lead by example to motivate staff and to represent AlliedBarton with world class customer and client service delivery
REQUIRED SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE
The ideal candidate will have at least 3 years management experience in law enforcement or military/civilian security operations. The ideal candidate must have sound judgment and integrity managing a large team in multiple locations and have a sense of urgency to respond to personnel and client calls 24 hours a day. We seek a highly motivated self-starter with outstanding written, verbal, organizational and interpersonal skills with superior client relationship skills.
